WHO’S BEHIND THE Y-GLAM CONCEPT?
After a 30-year career in the luxury fashion business, as a pattern maker and mock-up team leader, Marina launched the brand Y-Glam. Marina is also a style and fitting consultant for major Italian and international luxury fashion brands, an experienced course creator and a fashion academy teacher, with a firm passion for the outdoors, sports, nature and traveling.
MISSION
The outdoors and fitness lovers’ taste is shifting toward sustainable products when it comes to sportswear, and we aim at matching their taste while promoting a sustainable production system too. Y-Glam resonates with all those who seek quality, style, comfort and wearability for their leisure time garment.
THE CONCEPT BEHIND THE PROJECT
Y-Glam was born as an easy-to-wear sportswear brand, with the utmost care for details. Our products are made with natural organic fibers or innovative functional and environmental-friendly fabrics, and each piece is proudly designed, styled, and manufactured in Italy.
THE SPARK
The spark was taken during the earliest pandemic lockdown. It had been in the air for quite a long time actually, but the lockdown gave ideas, creativity and the decision the necessary boost. So, the brand was born with harmony, respect for the environment and work ethos in its own DNA.
